About
An award-winning program, the Florence Academy of Fine Arts Theatre Department competes and performs on both state and national stages, showcasing the immense talent of its students.
As a college preparatory program, students have the chance to participate in two to four productions annually, spanning a wide range of genres—from laugh-out-loud comedies to gripping dramas and spectacular musicals.
Beyond performance, our program offers hands-on experience in lighting, sound design, set construction, scenic painting, and stage management—ensuring that every student gains a full appreciation for the magic behind the curtain.
Whether onstage or behind the scenes, every student is empowered to create, collaborate, and shine!
