About
Welcome to Dance!
The Florence Academy of Fine Arts Dance Program teaches dance as an art form through which movement communicates meaning and understanding.
Students receive quality artistic training in various dance forms such as ballet, modern, and jazz. They will have diversified units of study focused on, but not limited to, choreography, improvisation, and site specific work.
Students will learn how to apply critical and creative thinking skills to their movement and how culture and history have affected the different dance genres.
